Court of Protection Insurance

Estate Insure Court of Protection provides specialist home insurance, including cover for disability adaption’s both in and out of the home (Including stair lifts and ramps etc.).

Aimed at removing the hassle associated with arranging insurance on your client’s behalf, there is no proposal form to complete and to ensure your client benefits from the highest levels of cover at an affordable price; standard cover includes:

• Up to £750,000 Buildings cover and £75,000 contents cover
• New for old replacement of damaged or stolen goods
• Rent and Alternative Accommodation – if the home is uninhabitable as a result of loss or damage
• Up to £1000 to cover accidental damage to locks or loss of keys
• Trace and Access – covers the costs incurred in locating the source of any damage resulting from the escape of water from fixed domestic water services or heating
• Emergency Access – provides cover for damage to the home or garden caused by forced access by fire, police or ambulance services as a result of an emergency
• Public Liability – up to £2,000,000
• Cover for valuables and belongings including money up to £750 and credit cards up to £1,000 within your home
• Accidental damage cover for Mirrors and Glass
• Contents in the garden – up to £1,000

Our policy can also provide cover for a wide range of adaptations and personal possessions inside and outside your home such as:

• Ramps and handrails
• Artificial limbs
• Stair lifts, bath lifts and chair lifts
• Adapted kitchen and bathroom fittings
• Manual and Motorised wheelchairs
• Adapted furniture such as beds etc
• Treasured personal possessions both in and out of the home
• Specialist equipment / Disability aids including those on loan or hire fromthe NHS

Theft cover is included as standard with the option to add accidental damage and legal expenses as an optional extra.
